The two pieces of huipil-embellished furniture are by San Antonio Texas award-winning artist, Veronica Prida and each is signed Prida 2005. The huipil is a traditional garment widely used from Mexico to Central America. Beautiful hand-made HUIPIL upholstered seats featuring pink and orange-red blooms with an intricate pattern of stitching and shades of green and navy -- the colors of the surrounding flowers are absolutely exquisite. Each is a little different. One has a padded seat that looks like its embedded in the bench.
The other the padded seat sits atop the bench. Both approximately 20 in height. Embedded bench 16" x 20" and the other 15 1/2" x 17 1/2". Queen anne style wooden legs.
Wood leg finish, gold leaf. Each weighs approximately 10 lbs. Please review all photos - you will be receiving the two benches that are in the photos.
